"Colorado Fall Colors" Original Plein Air Colorado Landscape Painting

The fall colors of Colorado are stunning.  It is such a pleasure to get out to paint them, but often the fall brings strong winds to the front range.  Because of the huge wind gusts, I had to hold down the easel with one hand while I painted with the other.  It was worth the effort though and I'd do it again.  This view is about a mile from my house and overlooks a now closed golf course with Pikes Peak in the background.
