"Longs Peeking" Original Oil Colorado Landscape Painting

This is the second of two pieces done on location at River's Edge Natural Area in Loveland, Colorado in conjunction with the Governor's Art Show.  The afternoon clouds were starting to form over Longs Peak and I had the strong urge to capture the sky over the peak. It was a beautiful day for a paint out.
